Research Activities at FRI

Florida Research Institute staff members initiate research proposals, seek funding from external sources, conduct research, analyze results, and write reports designed to expand understanding of problems and illuminate ways to resolve them.

The Institute collaborates with other organizations on small and large projects and programs. These are short or long term partnerships with academic centers, government agencies, community organizations, foundations and individual experts (for a listing of research partners, see About FRI). Additionally, the Institute forms multidisciplinary teams to provide unique and diverse perspectives to research, evaluation and special projects.
